Contemplative Photography & Collage
Boise artist Emma Hood creates contemplative photography and digital collage work exploring the relationship between place, identity, and time. Her work examines how our inner and outer worlds transform together.
Working with digital photo manipulation since her high school years, she photographs both standalone compositions and visual fragments that become building blocks for her layered collage practice.
Hood is a 2026 Top 200 finalist in Photolucida's Critical Mass international portfolio review and was an inaugural "Show and Tell" resident at The Common Well Studios, supported by the Alexa Rose Foundation. Currently represented by Idaho Art Gallery (Boise and Meridian, Idaho) and Pivot Gallery (Rosseau, Ontario), she exhibits limited edition fine art prints internationally.
She continues developing her practice as a professional fine art photographer, with work increasingly entering private and public collections.
